Health Guarantee

Terms of Sale:

The puppy is healthy to the best of the breeders' knowledge at the time of sale. All puppies are current on vaccines and dewormings, have been microchipped and vet checked. Once the puppy leaves the breeder's care, the buyer is responsible for all routine veterinary care and expenses related to the ownership of the dog. Buyer also agrees to ensure the dog is taken care throughout its life, not limited to but including vaccinations, flea and tick prevention, feeding a quality diet, etc. If the buyer is not able to keep the dog for any reason, it is agreed upon they will contact the breeder prior to rehoming. There are no refunds after the purchase of the puppy. If there is a health issue, breeder may offer reimbursement as described by the health guarantee. The buyer must activate the 30 day free trial of Trupanion insurance and have the puppy seen by a licensed vet within 3 business days for the health guarantees to be valid.

From the date of possession(___/___/____), the buyer has 3 business days (____,____,____)  to get the puppy seen by a licensed Veterinarian. A document from the vet visit must be provided to the breeder within the above mentioned time frame. Failure to do so will void any and all guarantees by the breeder.

Under certain circumstances an extension on these dates may be agreed upon, but is only valid if in writing signed by both parties.

Health Guarantee:

If at the first vet visit the puppy is determined to have any intestinal parasites, infectious disease, or health concern the buyer will contact the breeder immediately. The breeder will cover the cost of medication prescribed at the first vet visit to treat said issue, only if the issue is deemed to be from while in the care of the breeder. Reimbursement will only be for medication given, not for any diagnostic/veterinary costs. Reimbursement will not exceed purchase price minus original deposit. Vet bills must be submitted to the breeder within 24 hours to be reimbursed, there will be no other reimbursement by the breeder after covering the cost of the initial medication. Fecal samples must be submitted to an outside laboratory for confirmation prior to reimbursement.

Parvo Guarantee:

The puppy is guaranteed to be free of Canine Parvovirus for the first 7 days of ownership, starting at the time of the puppy leaving the breeders possession. In the event of a positive parvo snap test within 10 days of the most recent vaccination, additional laboratory testing must be completed to confirm positive test results. If an outside laboratory confirms the diagnosis, the breeder will either regain possession of the puppy and offer a refund minus the original deposit, or assist with medical treatment up to the original purchase price minus the original deposit.

One Year Congenital Guarantee:

The puppy is guaranteed until 1 year of age to be free of any life altering and debilitating congenital defects. In the event a Veterinarian determines an issue, the buyer will contact the breeder immediately and send SIGNED statements of diagnosis within 72 hours of the date on the vet paperwork. (Treatment notes or vet bills on their own will not suffice as proof of diagnosis) A second opinion from a different licensed Veterinarian must be obtained after contacting the breeder, the Veterinarian for the second opinion must be completely unaffiliated with the first Veterinarian that diagnosed the issue. All paperwork will be reviewed by the breeder and the breeder's vet.  In the event of a death, a necropsy must be performed, in the event the buyer refuses to have a necropsy performed, all guarantees are void. If all Vets involved come to a conclusive diagnosis of life altering congenital defect, the breeder will offer a replacement puppy of comparable value, as agreed upon by both parties. If a comparable puppy is not available at the time of diagnosis, the breeder may take up to 12 months to provide a replacement.

Limitations of Warranty:

There is no guarantee for breeding/showing purposes and/or trainability as these can be heavily influenced by factors out of the breeders control. Breeder does not guarantee size, color, eye color, or coat type. There is no guarantee for hypoglycemia or allergies. Hypoglycemia is low blood sugar and will not happen as long as a puppy continues to

eat on a regular basis. All guarantees are from the time the puppy leaves the breeder. You must keep copies for all veterinary care given. If a health issue arises, the breeder will request to see copies of these documents when all signed diagnosis documents are presented. There are no other guarantees offered other than listed on this agreement.

**Please note this is just a copy for information purposes and is not your physical guarantee. In order for the guarantee to be valid, it must be printed and signed by both parties.**
